Austin Roberts 14′, former Carmel Wide Receiver, tore his ACL while working out the week of July 17th. He underwent surgery. His surgery is complete and he is currently recovering at home.
Football head coach Kevin Wright tweeted Thursday night that he “was glad to hear that Roberts’ surgery went well and he is currently recovering.”
Roberts helped lead the football team last season to the first ever Class 6A state championship for football, only to lose to Warren Central High School. He verbally committed to UCLA prior to the 2013 football season.
