Virginia Kundrat, Science Bowl sponsor and coach, enters in grades during SRT. CHS Science Bowl will screen test this month.
Science Bowl is scheduled to test for teams, according to Virginia Kundrat, Science Bowl sponsor and coach. “We’ve been meeting Mondays and Thursdays each week right now so students are getting practice with the questions, with the pace, and with when to answer and when not to answer,” said Kundrat.
Darren Chang, Science Bowl member and junior, said that there will be three teams this year to represent the CHS Science Bowl Team. “[The reason] for our biweekly practices is because we want the newer members to be familiar with the questions and content to be studied so we can ensure results in our competitions this year,” said Chang.
Kundrat said that members usually study independently to complement the biweekly practices to practice for the screening test in the future. “The students haven’t decided the specifics of when they want to have [the screening test] yet,” said Kundrat. “We’re expecting [members] to be sorted into teams and settled in by the end of the month.”
