“We just finished our big project, and are looking to start our next big, independent project. We’re kind of in a lull right now, but we’re all just doing different activities.”
Simpson also said the station plans to submit projects to the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters (IASB) contest in March.
“We kind of just submit work we have finished by the time the contest rolls around, depending on what we decide,” he said.
According to WHJE adviser Brian Spilbeler, the station will continue to do everything else it has done in the past.
“We’re planning on broadcasting, covering different stories and running different community events, so the structure is pretty much the same,” Spilbeler said.
