French Club plans to attend “Phantom of the Opera” at the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre in May.
Cindy Lee, French Club secretary and junior, said French Club officers are still determining the date of the trip. They are considering times between May 4 to 15 and the full ranges of days the broadway musical will play in Indianapolis.
This trip to “Phantom of the Opera” follows one to “Carmen” earlier this month, as the club branches out from its usual focus on French restaurants.
Andrea Yocum, French Club co-sponsor and French teacher, said, “It’s a great production. At Old National, you’re fairly close to the stage, so it’s a great show.”
