the fieldhouse by door 17. It is blocked off for safety reasons due to
the boiler room explosion that happened in December.
Carmel Dads Club (CDC) is in the midst of their winter basketball season. Due to the recent explosion at Carmel High School (CHS), their practices and games have been relocatedfor the remainder of the season.
CDC president Jack Beery said via email “all game and practices for all ages have been moved to others schools for the remainder of the season unless changes occur.” Beery also said that all of the families and faculty members of CDC have been very understanding of the situation; “so far all changes are working” Beery said.
Taha Shakeel, CDC basketball player said he loves CDC; “CDC is a fun way of playing sports. It allows every player the opportunity to get better as well as showcase their skills in whatever sport they play.” Shakeel said.
Although in the midst of the winter season, registration for playing spring sports has opened and will be open till March.
