The softball maintenance crew gets the field ready before the game versus Center Grove. “We are hoping to play well in the postseason,” Zdobylak said.
The women’s softball team is on a hot streak leading up to their Sectional on May 20. they are looking to extend their dominance after multiple wins, including a 23-9 win over Kankakee Valley.
“We have been playing very well and have had some good wins over the past couple weeks,” Ariana Zdobylak, varsity player and senior, said.
The Sectional draw took place last week, in which Carmel drew their sectional versus Fishers.
Head Coach Ginger Britton said that she is looking forward to competing in the postseason.
“It’s a really good group of teams in the postseason and we are looking forward to making a run and hopefully winning a State championship,” Britton said.
The Sectional game will take place at the Cherry Tree Softball Complex.
