 After finalizing students’ immunization records, the nurses in the health center are currently experiencing a “lull” in their normally busy schedules, according to nurse coordinator Kandyce Hardie....

Claudia Shelbourn, nurse’s aide and senior, and Alyssa Tooley, nurse’s aide and senior, work on homework during their period as nurses’ aides. Shelbourn said, “I’m interested in the medical profession when I’m older, so I chose to be a nurse’s aide. Plus, my schedule is really hectic this year, so it’s kind of nice to have kind of a free period to kind of just chill and also get work done.”

All seniors’ meningitis vaccine record to be due to health center by Sept. 8
