Model U.N. will have a call-out meeting next Monday according to club sponsor Tracy Hadden. Hadden said she is holding this meeting to take the names of those interested in participating in Model U.N.
“We don’t have too much information yet, so I’ll just be making a name list,” Hadden said.
However, Hadden said that IUPUI, where the Model U.N. conference is held, sent out a save-the-date e-mail regarding the date of the conference this spring. As of now, the conference will be held March 17 and 18.
“It will start on Thursday evening, the seventeenth, and continue into Friday,” Hadden said. “Students will be excused from school.”
Hadden said there is not any information regarding registering for the Model U.N. conference yet.
Junior Yeseul “Rossie” Nho, who was in Model U.N. last year, said those who are interested in international relations should go to the call-out meeting.
She said, “I think those people who are interested in international events would like the opportunity to speak out and voice their opinions.” By Kendall Harshberger <[email protected]>
