According to Creative Writing Club sponosr Jerry Brickley, the winners of the annual Creative Writing Contest will be announced on Dec. 6.
Club members will publish all the entries in a literary magazine called Reflections.
“The club will be involved in putting all the entries together and publishing them,” Brickley said. First, second and third place winners will receive prizes.
According to Kinza Abbas, vice president and sophomore, the club is thinking to host a poetry slam sometime during the second semester. The club will also be having a party during the Dec. 12 meeting.
