From now until April 18, Cabinet is organizing the pink label event, which collects clothing donations for cancer research. According to Sara Levine, pink label event chair and junior, Students and faculty alike are encouraged to bring their donations to room C129.
This is the second year of the pink label event, and it is in honor of Caroline Symms, who was diagnosed with Wilmes cancer at the age of two and died three years later. The disease is rare and has no cure, so Symms’ mother organized this event in order to fundraise for cancer research.
Levine said, “This is how (Caroline’s) mother moves forward, and it’s great that we can support her in her time of need.”
