Anime Club members plan to conduct their next meeting on Jan. 27 in the Large Group Instruction (LGI) room after school.
Yanying Chen, Anime Club president and senior, said, “Our last meeting got canceled because of the 8th Grade Transition Night so our next meeting will be the Monday after next week.”
Club sponsor Rita Winters said, “Yanying Chen handles all the club’s meetings.”
According to Chen, there are no special events coming up, but the club plans to discuss events for the remainder of the spring semester at the next meeting.
“Every year we’re going to do a movie at the end of the year, but as of right now we don’t have any plans,” Chen said. “(We will) maybe watch a Ghibli movie. I know everyone loves that.”
