The CHS Women’s Volleyball Team is 17-3, and hopes to clinch the MIC title with a victory vs. Warren Central on Oct. 4 according to Varsity Head Coach Rich Coleman via E-Mail.
“The remaining schedule will present us with challenges as we have some of the toughest teams in 3A and 4A remaining. The Warren Central match we have at home on Oct 4 should help decide the winner of the MIC this year, and I’d love to see a huge turnout to help provide a difficult environment for Warren.” Coleman said.
Varsity setter and sophomore Carly Harbison is already confident the Greyhounds will beat Warren Central.
“We already played them in a tournament. We’re just, kind of adjusting to their plan,” Harbison said.
The Greyhounds had already beaten Warren Central earlier in the year, which is why Harbison shows confidence. Coleman is also proud of his team’s accomplishments this year.
Coleman said, “I am very fortunate that I have a great staff and tremendous athletes that continue to listen and work hard. It’s those to attributes that have enabled us to have the success that we have so far. I’m extremely proud of everyone in the program.”
