On Friday, the charisma dance team will perform for the first time this year for the whole student body.
“We are performing at the pep rally on Friday for homecoming,” said second-year veteran member and senior Avery Iverson. “I am so excited to show everyone what we have been working on.”
Iverson, along with 20 other girls, has been performing at home soccer games.
“This whole season we have been performing at both boys’ and girls’ home soccer games,” head coach Sarah Wolff said. “We also have a performance this season at the homecoming pep session.”
According to Wolff, the makeup of the team this year consists mostly of verteran dancers, with only two new members on the team.
“Every year is different based on the makeup of the team. This year we are very veteran. We have seven seniors and only two new members on our team,” Wolff said. “Last year we only had two seniors, every year is different.”
Third-year veteran member and senior Maddy Massa said she loves dancing as a charisma team member.
“It’s so much fun. I cannot wait to show everyone what we are working on at the pep session,” Massa said.
