The Volleyball team is preparing to play Hamilton Southeastern (HSE) on the first night of their Sectional at 7 p.m. at HSE.
Head coach Kristine Deem said via email, “Our Sectional is always a tough one as all teams in the Sectional are extremely competitive.”
The varsity team has a record of 22-9.
Emerson Evans, senior and varsity player said via-email, “I’m honestly happy we get to play HSE first so we can go at them right away. It will let us set the tone for our Sectional run.”
The team lost to McCutcheon on Oct. 4 with a score 3-0, but won against Mount Vernon on Oct.8 with a score 2-0.
“I have a lot of trust in this team,” Evans said, “We have come a long way since the beginning of the season and I am confident that we will have a much better showing against HSE on Thursday.”
