Superintendent Jeff Swensson is scheduled to speak about the referendum on the next PTO meeting which is April 15 at 9 A.M.
PTO President Cathy Huber said, “I’m definitely for the referendum. I don’t know why someone wouldn’t vote for it. It will raise taxes, but it is definitely needed in the long run. If I have to cut out pizza on a Friday (because of raised taxes), I will for (the referendum).”
The PTO is going to have a phone banks to call parents about the referendum. Huber is gathering volunteers now for the phone bank. By Nick Andrews <nandrews@hilite.org>
