On April 1, 2025 in the CHS library, students and senior citizens came together to discuss different prompts relating to the story West With Giraffes by Lynda Rutledge. “It is so interesting to hear the difference of how senior citizens and high school students comprehend literature,” Eskandar said. “I have learned so much from the people I’ve met in Silverhounds."

Emily Messiha, clarinet player and freshman, chats with a friend about the upcoming band concerts. The concert will be hosted by Hamilton Southeastern, where each performance will be scored by three judges. “We’ll focus on (a section of the piece),” Messiha said, “we start to have the entire song come together.”

Indy Women in Tech hosts a fundraiser to support girls finding their passions in technology. Events manager Kristan Russell said, “I love to follow our students that have gone through our program, the ones that have graduated and go out and get their career started, and watch them advance up the corporate ladder. March Litebox: Charity Champion

March 22, 2022
Greg Gottlieb, CHS Champions Together member and senior, thanks his family during the 6th annual Mr. Carmel competition on March 11. The competition involved fifteen senior boys performing individual talents and a group dance. Gottlieb was named the 2022 Mr. Carmel by a panel of teachers from different CHS academic departments. The organization raised over $20,000 for Special Olympics Indiana. (Olivia McKee)
