Carmel residents will vote on the School Safety referendum on Nov. 5, which details a tax increase where all funds will go towards providing more Student Resource Officers (SROs), mental health support...

Superintendent Michael Beresford will host informational nights in September and the first week of October for the community to learn more about the referendum. Beresford said the district hopes to educate the community so that they are aware of all facts and information regarding the referendum prior to voting on Nov. 5.
