According to Lawrence Yeh, Breakdancing Club co-president and senior, the semester is starting off with regular meetings held every Tuesday after school in the Freshman Center performing arts classroom until 5:30 p.m.
Additionally, Yeh said that he and other members of Breakdancing Club are planning the second annual Carmel’s Best Dance Crew event, which started last year in the wake of the Haitian earthquake.
“We’re thinking of doing Carmel’s Best Dance Crew again, with the money going to another charity,” Yeh said.
Andrew Thyen, Breakdancing Club member and freshman, said he joined Breakdancing Club after developing in interest in learning how to dance.
“(Breakdancing Club) sounded fun and intriguing. I’ve always wanted to learn how to dance and breakdancing seemed like fun,” Thyen said.
Sponsor Susie Deneen said that all questions regarding the club should be diverted to Yeh. By Lauren Burdick <[email protected]>
