Student Tutor Connections’ (STC) first meeting will be delayed due to the lack of a room and a session supervisor, according to STC sponsor Kris Hartman.
Hartman said she recently discovered that the previous STC sponsor Carol Piganelli could not supervise the club due to SRT conflicts.
Andrew Riley, STC president and senior, said now STC is looking for a new sponsor and room.
“Today was supposed to be the callout meeting,” he said, “so I’m not sure when STC will get up and start.”
Hartman said STC will have its first callout meeting shortly after she finds a sponsor.
“I am sending emails to the school and the staff to see if anybody is interested in sponsoring the club,” Hartman said. “I’m hoping to find somebody within the next week, but until then, we won’t have a callout meeting.”
Riley said, “For people who want to get tutored, the best thing to do right now is just go to your teacher.”
