According to club sponsor Nancy Spencer, while members of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) have no events currently planned, they will continue to meet one Wednesday a month in Room B175.
“(We) encourage any new people who want to join,” Spencer said.
FCCLA members have picked new officers for this year. The new president of FCCLA is senior Conner Erickson, and the new vice president is junior Carly Turbyfill.
FCCLA members also participated in the Health Fair at IU North Hospital on Oct. 8. They held a booth promoting bike safety at the Pumpkin Patch which is the fall community event.
In the past, FCCLA has also raised money for Children’s Miracle Network by selling cupcakes and hot chocolate.
