The Sophomore Class officers plan to encourage their fellow classmates to participate in Dance Marathon. According to Sophomore Class president Lauren Fogel, she hopes that all sophomores come to the event as it is for a charitable cause.
“We’re doing this for the kids, you know, so we want as many people as possible to help reach a new goal,” Fogel said.
Sophomore Class sponsor Jennifer Williams said the officers have not met this year yet, but a meeting should be planned in the upcoming months.
“The officers and I haven’t met since school resumed this semester, but hopefully we will have a meeting and plan some more activities and events for the Sophomore Class,” Williams said.
In addition to Dance Marathon, Fogel said the officers want sophomores to be focused on their classes and make sure this semester is as successful as the last one was.
Fogel said, “We want to keep up with the high school standards, so we encourage all sophomores to keep the ultimate goal in mind.”
