On Feb. 25, the CHS Mock Trial team won State. The competition was held downtown at the Indianapolis Court House. After the first six weeks of competition, the CHS team came into the competition ranked third overall.
During the first round, the CHS team beat Westfield High School by one point. CHS went on to beat both Noblesville and Fishers to win the title.
Club sponsor Holly Hochstedler stated, “We will not receive the scores from the final two rounds of the competition until later this week, but right now I just know that out of the nine teams that competed, we are number one.”
Hochstedler also said, “We have no seniors on our team this year so we are expecting to come back next year and win State again.
