High School Night will take place on Oct. 5 after school on a vacant lot across from Bub’s Burgers and next to Bazbeaux Pizza.
According to George Gemelas, president of Carmel Mayor’s Youth Council (CMYC) and junior, there will be many fun activities for CHS students to interact. Some activities that will take place is an open screening of the movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and discounts on restaurants and stores like TeaBuds and the Sweet Shoppe. Gemelas said that High School Night is free to attend.
“It will be a really fun event for teens to hang out with each other,” Gemelas said.
Jack Langston, vice president of CMYC and junior, also said that they have sent out advertisements out to promote the event. According to Langston, the movie will play at 8 p.m. and he also said that WHJE will DJ at High School Night. Like Gemelas, Langston said that the event would be entertaining for CHS students that are hoping to attend.
“Personally, I’m excited for High School Night. I am hoping that many students come to High School Night,” Langston said. By Arsalan Siddiqui
