Recently, Model U.N. had a meeting to discuss the committee assignments and topics. Students should now begin to prepare in anticipation the Model U.N. convention in March.
Last week, sponsor Peter O’Hara called a meeting to share with members which country and committees they will be representing this year. “Students should begin to put together their position papers,” O’Hara said.
Some Model U.N. students are thrilled about the beginning of the Model U.N. year. Eleanor Spolyar, Model U.N. member and senior, said that she is ready to dive into Model U.N. studying. At the last meeting Spolyar found out that she will be representing Mexican education. “I am enthusiastic to finally begin Model U.N.,” Spolyar said. She said she cannot wait until the conference in March.
There will be a meeting next week, although the date is still undecided.
