John Love, freshman class co-sponser, said he is leaving fundraiser ideas up to the freshman officers to decide.
“I want to let the kids pick the ideas on their own,” Love said. “Kind of like putting the ball in their court, so to speak.”
Both Freshman Class secretary Akshar Patel and Freshman Class treasurer Shakeel Zia have thought of possible ideas for fundraisers.
“We could do something like selling school supplies,” Patel said.
Zia said, “If we’re going to do another fundraiser, we should do something like selling t-shirts for charity, like we did during Homecoming week.”
