Eight members participated in last week’s Biology Olympiad test scheduled for Feb. 14, and ended up coming home with more confidence than ever before. “I’m proud I get to be a part of such a great group and learn a lot,” Luke Obrique, club member and freshman said. Now that the first test has passed, the group is scheduled to meet once a month and collaborate. Club sponsor Cindy Radaker said how proud overall she was of the club’s performance. “I’ve seen so much progress within the group and the progress has paid off. I am proud,” she said.
A future date for the regional competition has not yet been scheduled. “Since the Olympiad test, I feel like we are all more prepared for upcoming testing,” Obrique said. The club awaits test scores to find out regional rankings.
