Tomorrow, the German Club and all interested German students are scheduled to compete in Staatskongress at Ball State University (BSU). Staatskongress is an annual competition among German students in the areas of German language and culture. The competition lasts all day and the cost to participate is $20.
At Staatskongress, students can participate in a wide range of events from German poetry readings to the making of gingerbread houses and people as well as many other events.
According to German Club sponsor Laura King, students participate in two to three events. Also at the end of the competition the boy and girl who scored the most in the competition are crowned king and queen.
