Project Sunshine will have a meeting on Sept. 29 after school in the Greyhound Station. The meeting will consist of making bracelets, craft kits as well as collecting forms from the members. “I’m most proud of the club for creating such a large amount of craft kits, and how focused the members are on helping the kids,” Hannah Bromm, co-president of Project Sunshine and sophomore, said.
“Project Sunshine continues to grow each year, meaning the club can have a greater impact in our community,” said Allyson Wells-Podell, Project Sunshine sponsor and English teacher. She said she is also proud of the impact that the members have on local children’s hospitals and the selflessness that the members display on a regular basis.
“They consider the wants and needs of everyone involved in the hospital stay of a child,” Podell said.
