Project Sunshine is scheduled to have its next meeting March 22 after school in Greyhound Station. Members are to make craft kits and the specific type of kits has yet to be decided.
Project Sunshine members work throughout the year to make craft kits for pediatric patients. “(The members) love making craft kits; it’s always a rewarding process to know that it will make the pediatric patients smile,” Lauren Taylor, Project Sunshine member and sophomore, said.
Taylor said making craft kits may seem like a small deed but is worth much more.
“(It’s an honor) to work with a group of such motivated and caring students,” Allyson Wells-Podell, sponsor and English teacher, said.
