Invisible Children is planning to meet on Sept. 28 in Room E223. The club will be meeting every other Monday.
“We will be discussing the year’s plans, as well as getting the things started, such as locker signs, T-shirts and ideas for different events,” co-president and senior Emily Patterson said.
At the meeting, the upcoming rummage sale will also be discussed. “We still need to get some things settled; we need a location and everyone needs to receive assignments of how to help out at the event,” Patterson said. Invisible Children is also still accepting members, and anyone is welcome.
Invisible Children will be working with New Africa and trying to help other children in need.
“This semester we are working on sending school supplies to Mali,” sponsor Alicia Noneman said. “I think it will be a good year; we are really working hard to expand our efforts.”
