Kids’ Corner’s first semester will begin on Sept. 25 and end in December. The 5-year-olds will be there from 8:30 to 10:55 a.m. every other day.
Kids’ Corner is a college class for seniors who have taken child development their junior year and were recognized by a consumer science teacher. These seniors plan to teach or work with young children after high school.
“It’s a lot of work because it’s a college class, but it’s fun,” Brinna Voege, Kids’ Corner participant and senior, said. “I would totally recommend it.”
Sponsor Linda Pike was unable to comment.
The wait list for Kid’s Corner is long, so it is recommended that parents should sign their child up as soon as they can. Parents can get more information on Kids’ Corner at: http://www1.ccs.k12.in.us/chs/kids-corner/FAQ.
