The Volleyball team is preparing to play Westfield on Sept. 11 at Westfield.
Head Coach Kristine Deem said via-email, “We’ve really been working on growing as a team. We have a lot of new faces on the court and we have been focused on building our team dynamic as the season continued.”
The varsity team has a record of 8-7 this season. On Sept. 8 Carmel beat Tri-West 3-0.
Senior Jessica Pickett said, “We’re getting into the groove, it’s just kind of hard to start up, especially since losing a lot of seniors last year.
The team is also hosting Senior Night on Sept. 13 against Lawrence North.
Pickett said, “I’m excited but kind of nervous, since all the attention is on the seniors.”
