This Friday, LifeLines will hold a meeting in preparation of Winter Break Awareness week. “We’ll be deciding what we’re going to do for the week and who is in charge of it,” said Alec Rader, LifeLines vice president and junior.
In the past week, LifeLines completed Red Ribbon week. “I was a bit nervous about it at first, but I was surprised at how well it went. I think even more kids were wearing ribbons this year than last,” said Rebekah Overbey, LifeLines sponsor and resource teacher. “I just hope that people not only got the message of the week, but took it to heart and understood that by making responsible decisions they can save their lives and other people’s,” she said.
