According to Lawrence Yeh, Breakdancing Club co-president and senior, the club is taking a reprieve from organized activity for the rest of the semester. However, members of the club already have ideas for events next semester.
“There isn’t that much going on until next semester,” Yeh said. “But we’re really trying to make next semester great.”
The club is beginning plans for the second annual Carmel’s Best Dance Crew and is currently looking for a charity to donate the proceeds to.
For Katie Thyen, Breakdancing Club member and senior, the benefits of the club are obvious.
“(Breakdancing Club) provides a fun, creative outlet for students who prefer newer methods of expressing themselves,” Thyen said.
According to Breakdancing Club sponsor Susie Deneen, all questions regarding the club should be diverted to Yeh. By Lauren Burdick <[email protected]>
