With the men’s tennis season already underway, the Greyhounds start out with a great record. Varsity is undefeated with all singles and pairs playing at all time highs.
“I think the team has really stepped it up this year in practices and in matches; it’s really starting to show in our record,” Thomas Miller, member of the men’s tennis team and junior, said.
Miller said that with Sectional just around the corner, the team can keep up enough steam to grasp the title and push on-ward to the State match.
“We have got to continue to mature throughout the season. We play a lot of difficult teams and we must take something from each match. I think we have the talent and the depth to win,” Mike Bostic, men’s tennis coach, said.
The JV team is also currently undefeated with matches against Heritage Christian and Lawrence North, by winning 7-0 and 5-0.
