The intramural sports program at CHS will start its next sport during the upcoming spring months. After basketball, the intramural sponsor team plans on integrating a less orthodox sport into the program. Junior Joel Twiehaus plans on participating in one of these sports.
“I’ve played [intramural] basketball this year, so I think I’ll play whatever they offer for spring,” said Twiehaus.
According to intramural sponsor Matthew Petersen, this sport could be anything from racquetball to dodge ball. “We’re still in the pre-planning stages for the next sport. It’ll probably be a more relaxed and less competitive than basketball can get,” Petersen said, “Just listen to the morning announcements to find out the exact sports and dates in the future.”
Twiehaus said he expects that this year’s sports will be just as good or better than last year. He said, “Whatever they pick, we’ll come out and have fun.” By Jackson Whiteker <[email protected]>
