Women’s swim team looks to continue streak against Noblesville

The women’s swim team remained undefeated after its last victory on Dec. 29 against Bloomington South. That victory was the seventh in a row for the team and they look to continue this undefeated streak against Noblesville on Jan. 6. Although undefeated, Head Coach Christopher Plumb believes the team should take it one meet at a time before looking to the end of the season.

“We are preparing each and every day for our next meet,” Plumb said. “Each meet is just another step towards the end of the season.”
Along with Plumb, Kathryn Riedel, sophomore and swimming team member agrees to take their season one meet at a time.
“We will be very excited and supportive of each swimmer but prepare the same way for every meet and treat them all the same,” Riedel said.
The team cannot help but think about winning their next MIC Championship which takes place on Jan. 7.
“I think we have a real shot at winning MIC again this year,” said Riedel. “Our team just works so hard and puts in a lot of effort every practice.”
