The women’s basketball team will compete on Jan. 25 against Ben Davis at home. The team’s current record is 9-8.
According to Head Coach Scott Bowen, currently, the team has room to improve. However, by the end of the year a lot of players that did not have much experience will have matured.
According to Bowen, Katelyn Nordhoff, varsity starter and senior, is a returning experienced player that has contributed to much of the team’s success.
Amy Malone, varsity guard and junior said, “Every team we play around here is pretty good, to be honest, so we have to make sure what we’re all doing and that our team is on the same page.”
The game will start at 7:30 pm in the Eric Clark Activity Center. Future games are against Center Grove on Jan. 29 and Fort Wayne Canterbury on Jan. 31.
