The GKOM organization is planning to start another series of school public announcements, according to lead sponsor Mike Meyer. He and the GKOM council will create the videos and play them during SRT video announcements.
“(These videos will) probably be about cooperation and not using vulgar language,” Meyer said via email. “They will be the next videos in our series. The last one was for our ‘No Greyhound Sits Alone’ and I think it was pretty successful.”
GKOM and junior Sarah Crawford said that she is excited about the impact she believes these videos will have.
“Because GKOM is a program for freshmen, that is where we usually have most of our influence. I think that these video announcements are great because they give us the capability to reach the whole school,” Crawford said.
The next GKOM Connection Session is scheduled for Nov. 2 during SRT. Meyer said that the GKOM council will be discussing the successes and failures of the last Connection Session before the upcoming one in order to make any necessary changes.
