According to Bianca Stitch, Spirit Shop assistant manager and senior, Spirit Shop sales have decreased significantly since the beginning of the school year.
“In the beginning of the year, there were a lot more football customers, so sales were very high. I think it’s because there are more supporters for the football team than the basketball team. The freshmen also buy a lot in the beginning of the school year,” Stitch said.
According to Stitch, she believes the decreased sales also are due to the fact that many people think the Spirit Shop is expensive. However, she said the prices are only marketed up by two or three dollars.
Also, there have been many updates made to the Spirit Shop website. According to Stitch, they will now have students model the clothes on sale and will post them on the site.
