Members of the Rising Stars will have the chance next meeting to nominate the club’s new officers for the 2013-2014 school year. The positions include representatives from each grade level, secretary, treasurer, vice president and president.
Members of the club who are interested in being an officer next year need to attend the meeting where the voting process will occur.
“Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings,” Carolyn Keller, president of the club and senior, said.
The club will have its end-of-year banquet on May 1 when members can receive special awards based on their experience in the club throughout the course of the school year.
According to sponsor Peterson, , March will not be as busy as other months.
“Other than (officer elections), we don’t have anything else going on (this month),” Peterson said.
