In the main cafeteria, NHS Member Katie Boynton sells prep books at a booth. The prep book sale started last week and will run until the end of next week.
NHS members are selling AP, ACT and SAT prep books in the main cafeteria through the end of next week. The AP prep books offered include the Barron’s Review, Princeton Review, Crash Course and 5 Steps to a 5, in addition to The Real ACT Prep Guide 3rd Edition and The Official SAT Study Guide. Prices vary, ranging from $14.99 to $30.95 depending on the book. NHS members hope to be able to deliver the books to SRTs.
“It will be an easy way, and a nice service for people to get their prep books,” NHS treasurer Isabella Liu said.
In order to help manage and increase earnings through this fundraiser and others, NHS has added two business managers, Brian Shaffer and Jack Cleary, to their officers.
According to head sponsor Michele Satchwell, these new fundraising efforts will help fund projects and donations for the rest of the school year.
