According to Carly Chia, vice president and sophomore, there are no upcoming events for Typography and Design Club, but members will continue to plan events that allow members to create crafts.
“We were thinking of making (our) own hand-lettering and crafts and opening up a shop where we can sell (the crafts) one day,” she said. “Then, I think if you have a passion for hand-lettering , then you will want to do it.”
In addition, sponsor Kristin Lentz said while Typography and Design Club’s members are still planning, she encourages students to join the club if they have an interest in art and designing cards.
Lentz said, “I think students would be interested in (Typography and Design Club) because they get to learn how do calligraphy designing and hand letter.”
