The Art Club is hosting the Fall Art Show, which will continue for one more week. During this Art Show, the Art Club will be displaying some piece from every class. CHS encourages all staff, students, and guest to come and support the Art Club. This event will be hosted in the CHS auditorium all week long.
“Last night, Art Club hosted a fatality Booth with foo. Also, we just wrapped up the food drive for the holidays, and we were able to provide for the CHS backpack program. We raised over 25 boxes of food,” said Art Club sponsor Jennifer Bubp.
According to Bubp, anyone who has a passion for art is welcome to join the Art Club, which only exists for the first semester.
“At the end of the fall semester, we switch over to National Art Honors Society, students can apply for that program applications are going to be due Dec. 3. We will judge students based on their art portfolio,” said Budp.
In December, the club will be doing a holiday party along with doing art crafts to send to the Riley Children’s Hospital so that the kids at the hospital will have a bag full of stickers and things that they can create for fun.By:Aaron Haas
