On Nov. 15 the community Open House will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. at this school. The Open House is available to all members of the community as well as prospective students.
According to Ansel Nalin, NHS president and senior, NHS members will give tours to people would like to see the building. The event counts as individual hours towards members.
Another opportunity for members to receive individual hours takes place on Nov. 3, when members will put together final exam survival kits or FESKS.
“(FESKS are) a collection of items students might find useful,” Nalin said. Typically, the kits are sold during orientation. Nalin said parents usually buy the kits for their students. He also said the items are bought by club sponsor Debbie Haire. The FESKS are distributed a week before final exam week.
“I encourage members to continue individual hours because group hours are available next semester,” Nalin said. By Afra Hussain <[email protected]>
