Indianapolis Power and Light awarded special sevices teacher Mike Meyer the Golden Apple Award for creatively using “math, science or technology in the classroom to inspire and motivate improved student achievement,” according to the school district. The ceremony took place on Monday, May 12 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.
“Since its inception in 1991, this program has recognized more than 400 public and private school educators who have developed and implemented a wide range of innovative projects using math, science or technology.”
