On March 31, the camerata orchestra will perform in the studio theater beginning at 7 p.m. Admission will be free.
According to orchestra director Soo Han, the camerata orchestra is the highest chamber ensemble in the orchestra department, consisting of about 20 students in grades 10 to 12. Students will not only play as a whole, but also in smaller chamber groups.
“Some of chamber ensembles have been preparing since the beginning of the semester,” Han said. “We will select just a few to highlight.”
Vivian Chen, camerata member and junior, said she looks forward to the concert.
“With chamber music, you get to have more fun,” Chen said. “You get to have more interaction between different players.” By Tracy Sun <tsun@hilite.org>
