Model U.N. has moved their upcoming conference at Zionsville High School to Nov. 12. According to Model U.N. sponsor Sandy Gardner, this change will give members more time to prepare for the conference.
Gardner said, “They’re doing the new simulation on Andrew Jackson (so it is) kind of mirroring what (students were learning) in AP (U.S.) History.”
Kate Smith, Model U.N. officer and senior, said she was glad the club was given the extra time to prepare.
“I think it’s been very beneficial,” Smith said. “Just in the past month, I feel like we’ve seen so many new members really grow out of their shells, interact more with experienced members, and talk more at meetings. I think that this extra month has and will continue to be helpful to get prepared for that conference.” By Evelyn Foster
