On Saturday April 17 and Sunday April 18 member of the CHS marching band will be performing at the grand opening of the new sanctuary at Northview Christian Church. They are performing at four services in all. The first two will be on Saturday night, at 5 p.m. and 7p.m. They also will be performing, two on Sunday morning at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Band Director Chris Kreke said, “This is going to be a really rewarding and fun gig that will bring in a good deal of money for the marching band program.”
Band members who volunteered have been preparing and are excited for the event. Freshman Cameron Prill said, “I think that it is important for a community to support each other, no matter what differences the community may have, whether it is Christianity or Judaism or the local elderly home.
