Ehret said, My whole school year (turned upside down) because I moved to a new barn. I’m gone for four hours after school; I get (out of school), get up there at 5 p.m. and get back at 9 p.m. So there’s just no time to do anything that’s not what I currently do, and to be honest, there’s no time for that either.”

Beery said the new turf will be able to prevent this kind of damage. “(Artificial turf) allows us to play on the fields regardless of weather,” Beery said. “In the spring especially, we had a very rainy, wet spring.
